In partnership with The Agile Communications Agency, we collaborated to bring the 2024 Blue Manifesto document to life, unveiling it at a high-profile event at the European Parliament in Brussels. This event convened newly elected MEPs, key policymakers, and ocean advocates to highlight critical steps for the upcoming EU mandate, showcased in a bold, impactful report.
The launch was part of the “An Ocean of Change” initiative, led by six prominent Blue NGOs—Seas At Risk, ClientEarth, Oceana, Surfrider Foundation Europe, Birdlife Europe and Central Asia, and WWF. The Blue Manifesto advocates for an ambitious Ocean Deal to prioritise ocean protection within EU policy decisions for the new legislative term.
The stakes are high, and with 2030 fast approaching, the coming years will be decisive if the EU institutions are to leave a positive legacy for generations to come.
